It is a great recognition that, thanks to the enthusiastic professional work of our HR team and the philosophy represented by our company, we won the Responsible Employer title in 2022, also securing 2nd place in the small business category.

The title is an objective confirmation of the very conscious career management and motivation system with which we motivate each of our employees with long-term financial and career opportunities that are defined based on their individual abilities and knowledge. Our basic principle is that we offer our employees not only a position and the associated salary, but we also outline a perspective for everyone. In this system, conscious recruitment and selection, knowledge-level-based advancement, and the objective evaluation and promotion system developed for this purpose play a very important role.

We inform all of our job seekers, partners, visitors that our company has reached a new milestone. In 2024 we got the greatest recognition of Responsible Employers due to a very serious, lengthy and complex application procedure: Csiha Plc. has become GOLD certified responsible employer!

OFA Nonprofit Ltd. offers gold certification to companies that have already received Responsible Employer certification in a given year. You can therefore participate in the qualification process at the invitation of the OFA. The inspection committee of the OFA reviews the responsible employment practices and activities of the companies participating in the certification procedure along an objective process covering all details. During this review, our company presented a good performance along 9 out of 9 dimensions: wages, fringe benefits, knowledge transfer, development of the working environment, preservation of physical and mental health, support of community and social well-being, flexibility in employment, employee participation in management, feedback and evaluation. And we supported our practices with concrete methods, documents, indicators, and efficiency studies in relation to the fact that we think responsibly about the employees who join us. During the qualification procedure, a written application is examined, followed by several in-depth interviews with the company's employees. After that, they submit their proposal to the national committee, where they make a decision.

Last summer, we introduced a new practice at the company to help our colleagues who weren't originally from Szeged feel a bit more at home in our headquarters city. Led by our HR colleague, we organize sightseeing tours to explore Szeged and its surroundings. On this, our 6th tour, we visited the Jedlik Ányos Museum of Electrical Engineering (history of electrical engineering) in Szeged. It was a pleasure to see that our developers working on software development were just as interested in the exhibition as our colleagues working in similar professions in manufacturing. According to almost unanimous feedback from the colleagues, the most exciting device was a vintage oscilloscope, the 21st-century version of which we still use in our advanced laboratories today. We wholeheartedly recommend the exhibition to those interested in electronics, as well as the history of Szeged!

In a joint organization by the Squash Club and Radio 88, companies from Szeged and the surrounding area compete in various sports. In the March Fitness Challenge, our team achieved second place!

In May, another group of students, this time from the SZTE Móra Ferenc College, visited us at Csiha Ltd. to get an insight into our complex development processes, our products, and what they need in addition to their studies to become successful engineers and professionals. It was a pleasure to see their enthusiastic interest and to answer their useful questions!

The informatics and robotics club members of Rókusi Elementary School were able to visit Csiha Electronics and Software Development, where the children got to know various exciting 'smart gadgets'. Márk Csiha, the company's owner and Development Director, guided us through. The children had been preparing for this event with great excitement for weeks. They were extremely curious and active, surprising the adults with their inquisitive questions related to the profession.

We received another huge honor on November 18th at the Family-Friendly Company Award Gala. Thanks to the enthusiastic professional work of our HR team and the philosophy represented by our company, we won the Family-Friendly Company title for the first time in the company's history. What fills us with even greater pride is that not only did we win, but we also entered the top 3 companies in the country in the small business category for the first time. This is a huge recognition for us! We are very happy about it!
